What is a favorite fall way to drink coffee? Whipping cream and a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice are added, followed by a splash of homemade pumpkin creamer.

Cooking Time: None
Time total: 15 minutes
1 and 3/4 cups of Yield
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons (30g) pumpkin puree,
1 1/2 cups (360 ml) of heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk,
2 tablespoons (30g) of pure maple syrup,
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of homemade or store-bought pumpkin pie spice,
and 1 to 2 cinnamon sticks.
Instructions
Whisk together heavy cream, pumpkin, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan set over medium heat. Heat should be increased to medium-high after adding cinnamon sticks. Before using the creamer in your coffee, let it cool in the pan for five minutes after bringing it to a boil for one minute while stirring occasionally. If you like to drink coffee that way, add sugar. Whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon are optional additions.
For up to a week, keep leftovers in the fridge. Shake well before use.
Notes
Use almond, cashew, or coconut milk if possible.
Add about 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Add as much as you like after tasting. Both store-bought and home-made pumpkin pie spices are available. Use a pinch of each of the following: ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, and ground allspice if you don't have either and want to use the individual spices in this recipe.
These'maters are perfect between two slices of buttery, toasted white bread for an epic fried green tomato grilled sandwich, but they also make the ideal summer appetizer or side dish when prepared according to this easy Southern fried green tomato recipe. Use firm, unripened tomatoes while making fried green tomatoes. Since green tomatoes have not yet developed their juice, look for ones that are lighter in weight than red tomatoes. They'll probably have a very pale green color.
In addition to their short shelf life, fried green tomatoes are special for their somewhat sour flavor and firm texture, which pair perfectly with the salty fried breading.
Make sure the oil hits 350°F because that is the perfect temperature for a golden brown crust. A mushy crust will come from a low temperature, and scorching the suckers from a high temperature.
Avoid crowding the pan. Keep in mind that the temperature will lower as you add the coated tomatoes to the skillet but raise as they cook. Fry your tomatoes in a single layer.
What Flavor Are Fried Green Tomatoes?
Fried green tomatoes taste sweet to me and my savory side. When green tomatoes are cooked in a cornmeal crust, something wonderful occurs to the firm tomatoes:
Caramelization and sweetening of the sugars inside.
Although light and crispy, the golden cornmeal crust.
They are quite delectable.
